This study aims at assessing Iraqi EFL instructors’ perception on the effectiveness of Google Classroom. It is a qualitative research design in nature. Six university EFL instructors were volunteered to participate in this study. A semi-structured interview was used which consisted of four parts and each part has a number of questions. The researcher analyzes the elicited data following the six phases of analysis that were adopted from Braun and Clarke (2006). Findings reveal that GCA has great benefits in EFL teaching and learning not only for teachers but also for students. Although, this application has many advantages in teaching EFL students, it has many disadvantages in teaching EFL students. Finally, this study reveals that this application is not suitable for Iraqi EFL context.
