The pandemic of a new and dangerous coronavirus infection turned out to be the global stimulus that had a powerful impact on the existing world order. Not surprisingly, the problem of covid-19 from different angles immediately became a frequent "guest" on the pages of scientific and publications. In the period since the appearance of the corresponding statement by the WHO and up to the present, the total number of publications on this topic only on the portal elibrary.ru is 16877 articles. The scale of psychological developments related to covid-19 is less significant in general but is characterized by significant volumes and breadth of coverage. As of early July 2020, more than 15,000 research undertakings have been recorded in Germany, Great Britain, the USA, Canada, and the Asian continent. This general body of research can be grouped into several main areas. At present, issues related to the possibility of creating the conditions necessary for the favorable development of the personality and increasing the efficiency of its functioning in an environment of the direct influence of stressful influences are of particular value. That is why it becomes relevant to study the phenomenon of psychological well-being, considering a person's stay on high alert, associated with the fight against the spread of a new coronavirus infection. It is of interest to consider the phenomenon of psychological well-being in relation to those potentials that can provide it in extreme conditions (resilience and stress resistance). Therefore, the purpose of this work was to study resilience and stress resistance as correlates and predictors of psychological well-being. The article examines resilience and stress resistance as specific resources for the psychological well-being of an individual during the covid-19 pandemic.
