Today, information technology is an integral part of the life of every person, influencing, including the field of education. The advent of distance learning has made it accessible to many groups of people, and in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become one of the priority areas in the field of education. The purpose of this article is to identify the degree of student satisfaction with the quality of training carried out in a distance form. The authors provide the basic concepts of distance learning. And also the main educational technologies of distance learning are highlighted: complex case technologies, telecommunication technologies, Internet technologies and technologies based on the use of an integrated educational environment. The positive and negative aspects of this training format are considered.
