The article considers the functioning of Englishisms in the modern media text, which have recently become much more active. These borrowings are called new processes, phenomena, objects and signs that have appeared at the present stage of human development. In addition, foreign lexemes can replace and displace specific Ukrainian words.
It is concluded that in the lenguage of the print media the lexical-semantic system continues to develop in line with the trends of internationalization or globalization, which testifies to the active borrowing of foreign lenguage vocabulary, in particular technology, socio-political processes, etc.
