Virtual language environment in teaching Russian as a foreign language: materials, tools and technology for creating online course

The article considers the structure of the virtual language environment for Russian as a foreign language, which allows students to effectively use various information and educational training electronic resources, as well as search services of Internet technologies to establish interaction between all participants of the educational process. This specialized virtual environment is determined by the specifics of this subject area, its practical orientation and the communicative and activity basis of training. The features of the structure of the virtual educational environment are indicated. The platform "Open MSTU" is described, on which a virtual learning environment is created and electronic resources are placed. The authors describe the structure and educational materials of their electronic textbook Sputnik and the online course "Russian as a foreign language" created on its basis for students of the preparatory department. The special feature of this publication in comparison with the existing textbooks of the Russian language for foreigners is its natural-scientific and engineering-technical educational orientation, which is reflected in the selection of lexical and textual material of the textbook. At the end of the article, it is concluded that the approach developed by the authors allows for the activation of the cognitive activity of students with the effective use of the didactic capabilities of the electronic educational environment within the framework of a blended learning model.
